Strategy. Leadership. Connection.

I’m a strategist, leader, and connector. Throughout my career, I’ve helped organizations and leaders turn ideas into action, build stronger teams and partnerships, and create meaningful change.

My career has moved across sectors—from Boeing and Sony Pictures to philanthropy, consulting, and my current work leading the National Center for the Preservation of Democracy at the Japanese American National Museum. The settings have changed, but the work has remained remarkably consistent: helping people and organizations understand what’s possible, find the right connections, and build the strategy to get there.

I’ve built teams, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, developed philanthropic partnerships, designed programs, facilitated difficult conversations, and worked with leaders across business, philanthropy, government, nonprofits, and the arts. I’m particularly energized by developing leaders and creating the conditions for people to do their best work.

I’ve never been interested in changing careers. I’ve been interested in applying the same leadership principles in new environments.

That’s the thread running through my work: strategy, leadership, connection, and purpose. Whether I’m helping an organization think differently about its future, supporting a leader through a complicated challenge, bringing unlikely partners together, or turning a big idea into something people can actually do, I’m interested in what happens when people are connected by a shared purpose.

What I Do

Strategy & Organizational Leadership
I help organizations clarify where they’re going, make sense of complicated challenges, and turn big ideas into strategies people can actually put into action.

Leadership & Team Development
I help leaders and teams recognize their strengths, navigate change, and create the conditions for people to do their best work.

Connection & Collaboration
I bring people, organizations, and ideas together—often across sectors or perspectives—to find common ground, build partnerships, and create something that none of us could do alone.

The common thread is simple: I help people see what’s possible, figure out how to get there, and bring others along.

Consulting

I work with leaders and organizations that are navigating change, facing complicated challenges, or trying to turn an ambitious idea into something real. My consulting practice draws on experience across business, philanthropy, government, nonprofits, and the arts—with a particular focus on strategy, leadership, organizational development, and collaboration.

Sometimes that means helping an organization find its direction. Sometimes it means helping a leader work through a difficult challenge, bringing people together around a shared purpose, or designing a program that can move an idea from conversation to action.

Areas of Practice

Strategy & Organizational Development
Strategic planning, organizational strategy, program design, and helping organizations turn complex challenges into clear priorities and practical action.

Leadership & Team Development
Leadership coaching, team development, staff development, and support for leaders navigating growth, transition, or difficult organizational challenges.

Collaboration & Facilitation
Meeting facilitation, partnership development, community engagement, and bringing people with different perspectives together to find common ground and move forward.

I also bring experience in philanthropy, fundraising, grantmaking, and board development—particularly for organizations working in the arts, education, civic engagement, and social impact.
